Design Practice
For anyone that seen my usual designs (see demo page), they're quite terrible. In an accept to improve, I recently acquired and just finished the book: Non-Designer's Design Book, The (3rd Edition) (Non Designer's Design Book). Being a complete beginner, it's extremely helpful as the book lays out the core principals and fills most of the remaining book with comparisons of what to and what not to do.
For fun, I've created a "redesign" of RPI's LMS (Learning Management System) which utilizes blackboard, a site I despise of mostly because it utilizes frames.
Other color variants: blue, green, orange, purple
I still need more practice but hey, it's not bad
(No, I'm not going to make this an actual site; It requires too much work and probably lots of negotiating with the school to allow it).
